SCOTT W. EDGAR, DMD
Board Certified Endodontist
Dr. Edgar was born in Oregon as a descendant of several Oregon Trail families and finished high school in Anchorage, Alaska. He attended Willamette University, receiving a degree in Biology in 1988. He completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry, graduating with high honors in 1994. Dr. Edgar practiced general dentistry In Portland, Oregon from 1994 to 2002. He then returned to OHSU for endodontic graduate training and received his Specialty Certificate in Endodontics in 2004. He has practiced endodontics in northeast Portland and the Columbia Gorge since 2004.
Dr. Edgar is a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists. He is a member of the American Dental Association and has served on the Board of Directors for the Multnomah County Dental Society. He has been chosen by his peers as a Top Dentist in Portland Monthly magazine each year since 2009.

Dr. Edgar and his wife have lived in Northeast Portland since 1999 and are the proud parents of two young adult children.
